Prof. Wang Wei, in responding the kind invitation of VDZ, attended the 7th International VDZ Congress 2013 on September 25 through 27, 2013 successfully held in Dusseldorf, Germany. The theme of the Congress covers the following 6 feathers: Future Challenges and Visions of Cement Process Technology, Sustainability Use of Energy and Resources, Environmental Technology, Burning Technology, Grinding Technology, Cement and Concrete.

Prof. Wang’s invited speech titled as “A Chinese Solution to Change Investment-Return Models” received very warm appreciation and remarks from the audience. He reviewed the latest ten years’ learning and improving process of Sinoma from innovation on process technology and equipment to EPC total solution in order to best satisfying the customers’ need by optimizing the investment-return model to shorten the payback period. He also made in-depth comparison evaluation on Sinoma’s EPC model with traditional EP model of European suppliers using Hume Project, Malaysia already completed by Sinoma 2 months ahead of contracted schedule.

Prof. Wang finally comment on future perspective of cement development as an integral link in the industrial chain of circular economy focusing on higher efficiency and green technology and higher performance cement products.

VDZ International Congress is held every 4 years. This Congress 2013 received great success by the active participation of more than 630 people worldwide and the 39 invited speakers as well as the perfect organization of the Congress Secretariat. 17 Chinese delegates presented the Congress, among which Dr. Sui Tongbo, Vice President of Sinoma Int’l presented and gave a invited talk on Belite Rich Portland Cement and Concrete. Prof. Di Dongren, Chief Engineer of Sinoma Equipment group, Mr. Tao Congxi and Mr. Chai Xingteng, Executive Technical Managers of Sinoma Equipment Group also attended the conference.
