With an area of 500 m2, Chengdu R & D Center is one important research platform of Sinoma Int. It is outfit with raw material and fuel analysis lab, engineering lab, CDI-DCS lab, technology exchange center, equipment exhibition hall, etc. The center conducts such work as process and solution development, research application, neo-equipment development, technology optimization, etc. Meanwhile the center provides a place for our research staff to share innovation ideas.
1. Raw Material and Fuel Analysis Laboratory
This lab is geared with imported advanced analyzing instrument and experiment equipment. It mainly experiments on and analyzes raw materials and fuels. Experiment and analysis results provide reliable reference data for the ascertaining of material process property, design optimization and equipment selection. Analysis conducted in the lab includes:
(1) Regular chemical analysis and harmful content analysis on raw material, raw mix, clinker, cement;
(2) Industrial analysis on coal and coal ash composition analysis;
(3) Hartz grindability index test on coal;
(4) Test on pulverized coal ignition temperature and combustion character test;
(5) Raw material fragility test;
(6) Test on the metal wear index of raw materials;
(7) Raw material and cement grain size analysis;
(8) All physical inspections on cement;
(9) Raw materials Bond grindability test on;
(10) Raw material burnability.
2. Engineering Laboratory
Providing an experiment space of 2,000 m2, the engineering lab is a very important section for test center. In the lab many experiments and tests can be conducted: gas and solid two- phase flow test, grinding system, roller press system, grate cooler, roller mill development tests, optimization of process performance indexes, relevant basic experiments, hot performance test and other relevant test for engineering service.
